Ashish Sharma
Senior Director of Business Development; Alvarion Ltd.
Mr. Sharma is responsible for various aspects of global business responsibilities for Alvarion Ltd Corporate Strategy. His experience covers a broad spectrum of roles in business development, marketing, strategy and R&D. Mr. Sharma also handles the strategy and business development for WiMAX Forum. Prior to Alvarion, Mr. Sharma served as a Director of Business Development for Ericsson for several years where he helped grow Ericsson’s business in several key regions. Before Ericsson, Mr. Sharma was with Qualcomm where he helped develop some of the early CDMA systems. Mr. Sharma holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of District of Columbia, a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University and a Masters of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
