David brings a wealth of experience in high-tech customer service including architecture, integration, and training. He has held various technical and management positions where he was responsible for developing business strategies for security consulting, training, and customer support. He has worked closely with many high-profile organizations such as Cisco, the Department of Defense, and the National Security Agency to develop both wired and wireless security architectures.
Prior to joining AirDefense, David was the Director of Security Services for VeriSign. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing the department's profit goals, developing service offerings, and supporting strategic sales efforts. Early in his career with VeriSign, he trained many students on Internet security tactics and conducted consulting engagements around the world. Before joining VeriSign, David worked for the Department of Defense to develop applications to aid the engineering of dams, aircraft carriers, and buildings. He also owned and ran his own systems integration consulting company for three years.
David has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 1999 and is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
