 Chuck Haas CEO, Co-Founder, MetroFi
David Thomas Vice President, Product Management & Field Engineering, AirDefense

Program Description: last month Google presented their network and plans for Mountain View. Google will provide free broadband access all over mountain view as a test bed for various applications and business models. This month we will have two CEOs of companies that provide free broadband access through WiFi. The service is free for the end-users, but who pays the bills?

Metro Wi-Fi is exploding in cities small and large providing a new method of access for everyone. While the benefits are obvious, the security threat to individuals and nearby companies is not as clear. AirDefense will provide an overview of the threats posed by Metro Wi-Fi and suggest strategies organizations can use to mitigate the risk

Addmision fee is $10 collected at the door.
Light Buffet is provided by Law offices of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP
